TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS:

Mary B: “I really wanted to do something special for myself and get a good start to the new year, so I decided to join the Resilient Retreat. The lodging was perfect and such a beautiful location. Tina and Joe did not disappoint. We had a fun filled weekend doing yoga, fitness, hiking and also combining nutrition and spiritual aspects to become more prevalent in our day-to-day life. The retreat was truly a life changing experience. The meals were fantastic and it was fun learning new healthy, yet delicious recipes. To top it off the aromatherapy massage was amazing! I am looking forward to more retreats in the future. Definitely time well spent!!”

Katherine A: “The lessons I learned from Tina and Joe shifted my perspective on my own self-talk and showed me how powerful adding a layer of intention can be to my health and happiness. It was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in improving their health, wellness, and mindset.”

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

Tina has been a lifelong coach, leader, and athlete starting soccer at the age of 6. Following her professional volleyball career, and Division I coaching career, she turned her focus toward personal training, group instruction, life coaching, and yoga. A positive mindset and mental toughness was needed throughout her career. Her education includes CrossFit Level 2 Certification, CrossFit Rowing, 200 hour certified Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher through the mind.ful.on program at lululemon, Certified Life Coach through JRNI’s Catalyst Life Coaching Intensive, and Active Life Assessment and Programming Specialist. She sees the importance of finding balance between fitness and yoga and how it influences our time outside of the gym and off the yoga mat.

Jesalyn has been an athlete for most of her life, competing at the college level in the 400m dash, and now competing for fun in CrossFit. She graduated from Carroll University, in Wisconsin, with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. She is a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, ASFA Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Coach from Working Against Gravity.  When she is not doing CrossFit or coaching, she is enjoying life to the fullest, with her three kids, husband, and dog. She considers herself as a “nutrition nerd”, learning about food and what it can do for our bodies. She personally knows the struggles of what it’s like to be a busy mom, working full time, running a household, and balancing everything in life. Through her experience and expertise, she wants to help others learn how to take care of themselves in ways that not only help their wellbeing and but also help them find balance in their everyday life using sustainable, long-lasting healthy nutrition and fitness habits. Along with her training and personal experience, her passion for nutrition and fitness runs deep, helping individuals improve their quality of life physically and mentally. Her focus as a coach is to get her clients excited about fitness and nutrition, achieving their goals, and back to feeling their best when it comes to overall health and performance.
